At Firs Farm Nursery our family prides itself on growing a wide range of quality plants, trees and shrubs for sale to trade and retail customers at nursery prices.
At our nursery we not only grow and sell a massive range of shrubs, trees, basket plants, bedding plants, herbs, soft fruit, lavenders and possibly the largest range of perennials for miles, we also sell a range of composts, bagged stone, pots and gardenware, garden treatmets and sundries.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our products not to mention our low prices so please drop by and we'd be pleased to help solve your gardening needs.
Our award winning hanging baskets are all hand crafted by us too - bring down your empty basket and we'll refill it for you.
HISTORY
Our story starts in 2 small glass houses at the back of the former Scropton Post Office. Grandad Mick, having served his apprenticeship in the gardens of the Bass family home at Byrkley Hall started growing plants and making hanging baskets for Scropton villagers.
As demand grew in the late 80’s he planned to relocate his nursery to a bigger site at Firs Farm, just minutes down the road.
Our story of growth continues today as future generations work to continue the principle of reinvesting and growing an ever increasing quantity of quality plants for the local market.
Still a Nursery .....
Years later our family business stays true to our founder's principles of growing quality plants for sale to trade and the public at good honest 'Nursery' prices.
